What is a Waste?

A waste is any liquid, solid or gaseous material that is being discarded for any reason

Many materials can be put to further use or reclaimed for further use, either by your business or another business. A material is not a waste if it is used in a way that is not considered "solid waste disposal", as defined in s. 289.01(34), Wis. Stats.
