Religion - The Court of the Grail is a dedicated to a pantheon of 16 good gods. As a whole the church teaches that as the gods are good, so should mortals strive for pure goodness. This means caring for the less fortunate, sacrificing for others, promoting love, charity, hope and forgiveness. Forgiveness and redemption are themes central to the parables and legends of the gods. There are few things that make forgiveness impossible, but some things come close: consorting with demons, creating the undead, etc.
Erdhon the Sun God is looked upon most favorably. Bleobaris, the first Exarch of the nation, chose the Sun as the national symbol. Here it it shown in a couple of the most common forms throughout the States.
The Order of The Dawn - A Religious Organization welcomed throughout many nations. Its base of operations is within the Crusader States. This arrangement has proven beneficial to all who hold themselves to their good Grail teachings. Several times over the past century cooperative efforts were made to defend the States or its neighbors.
The Way of the Sword - They hold that Artorius is the one true god, and that all others are but his semi-divine progeny. The Way espouses martial readiness and decisive action, and so is very appealing to the soldiers and small-hold knights of the fractious Crusader States. The population of Maenadia once took to openly espousing this view. Since its initial flare in the Crusader States and The Whisper Wood it has since died off considerably. The Elves took the matter to heart and sent teachers of the faith to bring back those who had wandered from the core Grail teachings.
