New Haven is a 30 section town located in the southeastern tip of Adams County Wisconsin.  The Town is dominated by farms, forest and water.

 

Roughly half the Town is considered prime farmland, over one third is woodland and one tenth is wetlands, lakes, ponds or streams.

 

Southern Adams County's first white settler, Jared Walsworth, arrived in New Haven in 1838, and the village of Big Spring began to take form by the 1840's.

 

Today's New Haven is a quiet rural town with a population of 710.
